You do a search and what comes up
retirement properties
mobile homes
shared ownership
these all should have their own catagories which you can select or deselect if you want, i cant stand having to wade through loads of stuff which catches my eye and then suddenly i see blah blah blah 50%.......

Oh, ME TOO! I'm glad its not just me.
I'm seraching for different option in a huge area. Its wretchedly time consuming and I visit here inbetween pages becuase I go dizzy after a while of pages loading with nothing suitable. I slightly prefer primelocation to rightmove but all the agents seem to prefer right move.0 -
I'd like to be able to just see detached houses. It's not like it's rocket science either. That's what's most annoying.
And crap agents who are incapable of categorising something correctly. I have a subscription to plotfinder. Forgive me but an overpriced two bedroom flat in need of a lick of paint IS NOT A PLOT! :rotfl:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

well dont get me started on the EA's efforts. search for 2 bed flat and you can bet your life some 1 bed flats or 2 bed houses come up, because the EA has catagorised it incorrectly.
then theres the ones that go on about spacious, in good condition and theres no pictures OR description and measurements. I cant stand it0 -
At least you can search by price £10,000 either way.
I've seen some Estate Agents sites that do it in £50,000 or in one case £100,000 jumps! At least you can narrow the price down...
BenSavings as of April 2023 Savings account - £26460.50(14474.88)Current account - £2140.24(4576.79)Total - £28600.74(19051.67) £1010 (£65pm CS/BS) £250 CS/BS/JS0 -
Oh well ... it's not like I am even actually looking.
I am just being nosey (and adding to property-bee data)0 -
Try globrix - it's got quite a few options to narrow things down and links directly to the EA websites0

What I hate is:
1. I search in a small area, where maybe on a good day 2-3 properties come on the market in each particular location. The side of my screen is FILLED UP with the alternative search options: 3 bed houses, 4 bed houses, 1 bed flats, etc etc. What an effing waste of screen place.
2. If there are no matches on your search, the place where you go for your next location changes from if there was a match - it's now on the right hand bottom not the left hand bottom!
3. And some 'close-by' locations don't pop up automatically at all. We're in Bingley, W.Yorks. I have Shipley suggested and Bradford. What about Harden, East Morton, Keighley? They are just as close (and in the case of the first two, rather more desirable!).Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000 -
Me too!
They may have the best coverage at the moment, but they aren't providing the facilities buyers require. My gut feeling is they have been lax whilst its been a seller market.
Now its turning into a buyers market, sites like globrix which offer the buyer a "better experience" in terms of keywords, nearby schools/stations and whether a property has certain features, are surely going to increase their market share.
Cheers

globrix is confusing and never seems to work right for me. Having chosen a town, if I try to change anything (e.g. slide the sliders for a new price), it says "loading" for aaages. Far too long.
In fact, I went there and did that, saw "loading", waited, came back here, typed this whole posting and *checks* it's still saying "loading" and all I did was slide the price slider!0
