Ahh!
Just checked my egg account online, and there is a transaction that I do not recognise, from a company that I do not know at the end of May.
It is only for £9.95, but what do I need to do? I have emailed egg and changed my password etc. I have only ever used the card online (never activated it or got pin number etc) and I havn't actually even used it for 3 months!!
Any help appreciated!:D

If your sure you didn't make the transaction just call Egg and get the card cancelled and reissued.0 -
Maybe it's someone you set up an annual payment to (even if you didn't realise it was at the time).
What's the firm?0 -
bethanyrane is absolutely correct.
Here's what the Banking Code says:
Banking Code:
10.2 If you do not recognise a card transaction which appears on your statement, we will give you more details if you ask us. In some cases, we will need you to give us confirmation or evidence that you have not authorised a transaction.
10.3 If we confirm a transaction is unauthorised, we will refund any interest charged, unless you have acted fraudulently or without reasonable care (see under sections 12.5 and 12.11)
You can find the Banking Code by clicking here. It's worth reading articles 12.5 and 12.11
