Thanks for the links on stress/survival kits...............I know a lot of them are variations on a theme and I'm doing a few to suit the individual.
My grandchildren will think its a bit of a hoot I know and as I don't see them often I'll try and concoct some sort of 'fondness from afar' type thing -if you know what I mean.Mary

those bed pockets are great you can make similair things for bunk beds too also you could make matching wall pockets too by putting a big dowel/broom handle through a channel sewn in the top and bottom of a square of fabric with various size pockets on
does that make sense ???

I made this the other day:

from these bits:
well, I didn't really make it, I just stuck the bits together. It was a K&Co. "make & take" kit that I bought from ebay. I thought if I bought one I could copy it and make more. Its called a paper hanging basket or something. What you can't see from the picture is that you can put bits inside (pot pourri etc), I thought maybe you could hand them on a drawer knob or door handle. Don't know what I'm going to do with this one (might give it to my Mum). I thought maybe you could use them to decorate a xmas tree, or put sweets inside on the tree as as an advent calender, with 25 different ones with the numbers on!0 -
Thanks Glenda - I've printed some of those off and can adapt them.
This rate my little paste jars won't be big enough............lol Thank goodness OH has kept some bigger ones and they've already got red lids so no need to paint them !Mary

Ummm.............I'm wondering if I can adapt my laundry basket.........its one of those cream canvas ones, fold up sort, with wooden framework. OH has an ali baba type but insists on chucking his washing on the floor..........mine gets so overloaded I think it'll cave in any minute........so there's really no need for them both. I could do something with mine I'm sure..........don't know abut coping with that number of pockets though..........don't have a machine so I've got to hand sew................lolMary
