I remember when I first looked at the sock monkey instructions it looked a LOT of work.

Particularly for me as I hate sewing and haven't got a sewing machine...

My box -The box was a chipboard box - totally blank and I covered it and painted the edges, there's a book inside the box (was only £4) just have to put my dd's christmas photos in scrapbook style-

I love the flannel reindeers too - I have them on my list to do om Dec1st for my daughters teachers and she's going to help me too (and I've bought small lush bath bombs to put in, candy cane ones so they'll smell great.

Ah, you see I've got access to my Mum's sewing machine, not sure I'd want to tackle this by hand...

BUT if you do have a sewing machine they're suprisingly easy to make. I recon I could get the second one done in max 2 hrs now I've had a trial run...

I saw a great idea at the weekend, a sharpened pencil with a rubber on the end with a label wrapped around it saying
"Emergency computer back up system" with an arrow to the pencil tip saying "Insert" and an arrow to the rubber saying "delete"

Was the label on the pencil a stick on one pointing to either end of the pencil or a tie on one with a diagram ? I really want to do one of these for my grandson

It was as though someone had wrapped the label around and stapled it around the pencil. There was writing saying "emergency computer back up kit" and below just an arrow pointed to each end. I don't think it matters how you do it really, sticky label or some paper
