An idea I saw not my creation.Check out this advent calendar made with gingerbread men/women. Simply get a length of cellophane and place 24 gingerbread men along the length then tie each one off. On 1st December you open the bottom one and then day by day work your way up the cellophane. Think I will be going to bargain madness for some of these thanks for the info on their prices hope they have plenty left tomorrow morning.

I thought you might like to see the flock/herd/gaggle/gang/group???of reindeers that are currently residing at my house:D



My brownies made two each last night, one for themselves which they took home and one for the residents of the Care Home where we are going to sing Christmas Carol next week.

I think they did a marvellous job:T

What a wonderful thing to do Jollyjojo, I'm sure the carehome will love them!

I brought some gingerbread men in the 99p shop, think it was a pack of 10, only about four inches and not alot of decoration but I was going to add some more icing and pop them in my friend's hampers as perfect men.
I'v got some gingerbread hearts I'm planning on using as gift tags, do you think that is too much gingerbread?

Oh my.

I started making a practice sock-monkey last night and was up until 1.30am :eek: . I get up for work at 6.00am . I still have to sew on one arm, the ears, nose and eyes but have got them pinned on so he looks okay

If he looks semi decent, guess what I'll be doing this weekend? :rotfl:

Wow, all those reindeer look fantastic! Well done to your Brownies! I've just started helping out at our local Guides and tonight I think we're making bath bombs!

Yay! I finally tracked down some wheat for a warming pillow I'm making my aunt, I'v been looking everywhere as I was reluctant to pay the postage on ebay and turns out they sell it in a health store near my work for only £1.65 a kilo, much cheaper than online!
