Help with Samsung SGH Q200

My old LG phone started to cause problems, I think the microphone is failing.

I bought the Samsung off Ebay and it is supposed to be unlocked.

Having put in my Sim card, I'm on 3 by the way, I get the following message, PUK Disabled Card Blocked.

Can anybody advise me on what I need to do to get the phone and sim together.

I have now just called 3, and they say that my phone is not compatable and need to remove my Sim card from the Samsung or they will block my number.

Are they correct in saying the two are not compatable even though the Samsung is unlocked?

The samsung q200 isn't a 3g phone therefore will cost 3 for you to make/receive calls using the o2 network. 3 won't like this therefore will bar your sim card. Having looked through their t's and c's it does state that they're within their rights to do this.

although it is unlocked it will only work with 2g networks like orange - voda - tmob - o2 - virgin.
you need a phone that has been released on the 3 network to use your sim, it wont need unlocking then either
