I have a 2007 cash ISA with Egg that is maxed-out (£3000+interest).
I also have a new 2008 cash ISA with Icesave that is maxed-out (£3600).
I want to transfer the '07 ISA to Icesave. To do this do I need two seperate accounts with Icesave or does all the money go into one account?
(I'm sure this has been asked and answered a hundred times, but I can't find it!)
Thanks!

from the website about transfers:
"Yes you can transfer in Cash ISAs held with other providers into the Icesave Easy Access ISA. You can choose to make a transfer in as part of your application or, once your account is open, simply log in and select the option to make a transfer-in to your Easy Access ISA."
(it will all go into that account)0 -
Yes, I'd read that, but I'm not clear whether this is legitimate for an already maxed-out account.0

Just below that:
"Transfers in from other providers do not count towards your annual subscription limit. There is no restriction to the number of providers you can transfer-in from."
It does not matter. But. But. Do not BACS transfer or whatever, do it how they say and it will all be fine.0 -
If only I'd read that properly - thanks!0
