Natwest to Lloyds Cash ISA woes.

Opened new Cash ISA with LLoyds on 6th April. Filled in forms to transfer previous balance from Natwest. Letter from LLoyds confirming contact with Natwest to request funds on 24th April. Now nothing. Total inaction. Natwest deny receiving the letter. my money is stuck in Natwest nearly nine weeks after i filled in the forms.
What is going on here?
My theory is that Natwest are making it as difficult as possible to get at my cash. They know full well that people would be reluctant to close the account over the counter and walk out with a cheque as the ISA reverts to year one if it is closed in that way. Had my account just been a straight savings account i would have demanded a cheque b now.
Natwest are skint in my opinion.
Unless someone from RBS wants to out me straight, i'll be spending the weekend firing off letters tot he press.
If this is an example of the UKs financial services then god help us all.

I wouldn't bet on it being NatWest's fault - many people are having problems with LTSB, including myself (they've had a 13.6k ISA transer of mine in a black hole since March) - see this VERY long thread.shindigger wrote: »My theory is that Natwest are making it as difficult as possible to get at my cash.0
