I'm presuming it has sold to someone else. It is a lovely period property. However, my beef is about the agent not getting back to me...to let me know what was going on. I might have upped the offer.... just seems strange when until a couple of weeks ago there were definitely no other offers and the EA was talking of reducing. Who knows someone may have come off the street yesterday, but this does not give me much faith in EAs. They phone and give you the schmooze and then you don't see or hear of them for dust. And I am fully proceedable.0

I'd play the "Pop in, and ask to see other flats" game. All casual.
Probably even mull through the window area looking a bit disinterested, wander off, come back 2 minutes later, then casually stroll in and vaguely enquire about one in the window, or what they've got new.
Just don't look bothered.0 -
Just call them, for goodness sake! Just relay what happened - they contacted you about it and you're wondering if there is feedback.
Do you think agents really fall for "I've got an offer in but I don't care about the answer so I'm asking about other flats"? Just makes you look a bit flighty
Everyone here does know it's the vendor that makes the decisions, not the EA, right?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
