Last year or not.
:kisses3: I'm sure I'll come back into fashion eventually.
As far as the digging for victory is concerned. (I don't actually like that phrase, I am just growing my own and not trying to be victorious at anything;) ) I must admit that having children has indeed thwarted my efforts. They only have half the garden they would have if I didn't have a greenhouse, 3 raised veggie patches and a couple of dozen pots.
Our town doesn't have allotments but we have hopefully fixed this and the council are releasing land soon. When they do I have been allocated one of the first lotties and my children can have their full garden back. I'm not sure that they want it as they are getting infinite pleasure this year from planting their own veg. As well as helping me with the main beds they are each taking over a whisky barrel with the aim of growing the "3 sisters". :T
I run the school gardening club too so hoefully lots of littlies will share their enthusiasm with their parents. I'm sure if the last people that jumped on budge up abit, there is plenty more room on this bandwagon. :cool:0 -
Three posts by jwilkes, three links to I Dig Allotments, and, waddya know, that website happens to be owned by one John Wilkes. Do you have anything else to contribute other than to promote your website?0

I thought that the most recent of the 3 was the funniest. He thinks he heard it mentioned on the radio.0 -
An interesting/useful article in today's "The Independent on Sunday":

includes giving link for free seeds for schools.0
