national express is wayy expensive, have you tried the mega bus??

Thanks allenx. Megabus don't seem to cover the route I need.

The train seems to be around £11.00 return per day, Southampton to bournemouth/poole, and national express around £6.00. Will probably go for both on different days, depending on times of travel etc.

I'm fine thanks, my friend is doing well. I don't think I mentioned he had a brain hemmorhage, he is only 36, but against all odds has come out of a three week coma after extensive brain surgery, and is unable to talk or move his right side at all at present. He is however doing better than any of the doctors predicted, and is just regaining his rather unique, (but lovable) sense of humour, so he must be on the mend. The doctors say he may be in hospital for up to six months, but were all hoping it won't be that long. The sad thing is, he has just helped me through a bad patch, including depression and being diagnosed as type 1 diabetic, and long hospital stay, and I don't think I would have got through it without his support and friendship. Then a week later, this happens to him, and sometimes it seems life isn't fair.

Sorry to go off subject, but a lot of people here have been asking how he is, and I thought I owed it to give a brief explanation of what happened. There really are nice people out there, and quite a few on here
