Tayto Crisps Northern Ireland

I sent a packet of crisps back to the manufacturer, Tayto, on Tuesday as they tasted soapy. This morning the postie arrived at my door with a large box from Tayto. Inside were 14 packets of assorted crisps and a letter of apology for the flavouring going wrong.
Well done and a big thumbs up for the customer service, all I really expected back was a letter. This is a major bonus

They are mainly NI based although they do offer a web sales service. Website is currently being revamped but should be up again soon.

A similar thing happened to us once with Kettle Chips. There was something wrong with a packet (can't remember what now... burnt I think) so we phoned up to let them know and they sent us a whole box which had about 12 family sized packs.

I saw something in the news a few weeks ago along the lines that Tesco are contracting Tayto to make their own brand crisps. I don't know when this arrangement will start, or if it'll be obvious from the packaging that the bags contain Tayto crisps, or if they will be the same product as we're used to over here. I hope they are the same as we get, they are fab especially cheese and onion. Shame they can't get the calories out, never mind eh!0

I was in Wilkinsons yesterday in Huntingdon and I couldnt believe my luck, they were selling most of the Tayto range. This is the first time I have seen the crisps for sale in England. I have seen Tayto snacks before but this was the first for the crisps.
Please go and buy a packet of Tayto cheese & onion if you canThey are the best crisps in the world....
