MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I also got a letter, phoned up to cancelled I also have to write to Sunderland.
She offered me 6 months at £7.50, but cancelled anyway.
I said that I might join again later in the year, but she told me that there would be a £14.99 re-connection chargeMac0 -

Even given the price hike (10p/day is another way of looking at it), I think Setanta offer better value for money than Sky Sports - to get the sport with them it's the best part of £38 or so.
Given Setanta are now showing the England matches, the FA cup, cricket and the boxing, then it was clear that as they are going to show more sport then they will have to put the prices up to pay for it.
Sky on the other hand seem to be serving up all sorts of drivel on its sports channel. Tonight I had the choice of people falling of skateboards, highlights of old american football, phone-in poker and wrestling. That is not worth £38/month.
For me, if push comes to shove then Sky will be cancelled before Setanta.0
