PS if you don't have one already remember to get an RCD - a residual current device - this protects you and your son when you cut through the cable, as working outside means you're more likely to get a serious shock (standing on 'earth') so need better protection. my son did just that cut through it in 2 places we got a adapter from wilkos for 1.99 and the mowers lasted another 2 years,
buy the way if you did want a new lawn mower and the gardens only small argos has a hover for 14/99 and one with a grassbox for 19.99 and they both were given 8/10 for preformanceReplies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. You MUST put the female half of the plug on the cable that will be plugged into the wall and the other half gets wired to the lawnmower.
As ailuro2 said!!!
Also if the mower does not work after you have fitted the connector, change the fuse in the plug as this will almost certainly have blown0
