    As an alternative for rubbish?

Or did you think there was some merit in comparing underwear at that moment.

At least you didn't actually throw your pants .;)
    Yes
No, I have a knack of using inappropriate language in formal settings when under pressure (and being IN a formal setting is under pressure to me)
What makes you think I was wearing any :)

Come now Horace, surely you didn't need the OP to post this before you realised that taking all of the money out of your fledgling company and spending it, is a bad thing? ;)

True, I knew that already, guess I am lucky in that I have the help of my local chamber of commerce and have attended their free business courses. The scheme with the jobcentes means that I can claim for 6 months whilst I test trade so no money will be coming out of the business account other than for expenses.:j

I am glad that I am not dumb and stupid - because the OP will find out that ignorance is no defence in law:rotfl:

Because your Mum once told you to always wear pants and no one has since told you to do something different.;)

The only thing we can do now is sell the house quickly, at a loss, move somewhere cheaper to rent - add the debt from the house to the other debts we have and use an IVA to help pay them off.

We can't end our rental contract until september so we cannot move somewhere cheaper until then. But I can't wait to move out of here and start afresh somewhere else.

Rental contracts are normally for 6 months, but you can usually give one months notice to quit - I suggest you read the terms of the rental agreement on the property you are renting. Give notice to your tenants and then move back home - you can then live in your own place, so what if OH has to commute but you will be saving some money in the long run.

You do need to be realistic and sure some folks have had a go at you but this is down to your refusal to take on aboard any advice and instead you keep coming up with excuses as to why you can't do something rather than concentrating on what you can do.

Not quite that simple. You have to give 2 months' notice, starting on a rent day to the people renting your house
Then give 2 months' notice, starting on a rent day to your current landlord.

As the OP's house is let out until August, the tenants in there will be leaving before that 2 months was up anyway.

As the OP is only in their rented until September (and can't move back to their own house until the tenants leave in August) .... it all adds up to a nice idea but unlikely to be workable due to the timescales/requirements and complexity of the situation.

    Nice try though.

Oh ... and the OP drops a sprog next week. Not a good time to be faffing about.

If you didn't know already, Mrs LA is the headteacher of a school for kids with ASD so I'm no stranger to the triad of impairments.;)

Could you do childminding from your home, tax free income although you will need to be registered.

It's only tax-free if you earn less than the tax threshold.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Talk about planning - she'll be having kittens if she doesn't do something soon.

And I am a parent of 2 children with ASD (one complex autistic, one Aspergers) so I am the same.

Gobbledegook, gobblygook....pah what difference :rotfl: , I am known for making my own words up to describe things, suppose that's why I am classed as weird!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
