    Morning all :)

Washers on, dishwashers been on, emptied and now on with cleaning stuff in it.

I've got a list a mile long I should be doing today but I am feeling VERY tired and tempted to go back to bed instead :rotfl: I don't think I'll have time to be honest. Tomorrow will be spent mainly getting the caravan ready, we need to figure how to use everything that runs off gas and a few other things, so we can set off as soon as the boys get back from school so all planning, shopping and sorting needs doing today aswell as hair cuts for the boys this evening and swimming.

Don't think we've got anything to go on ebay, to be honest we had such a clear out before we moved I've only sold a couple of things since. DP might want to part with some of his car things but will have to wait until he gets up.

I best go do something, weather looks like it's going to cheer up a little (had quite a bit of rain but the garden needed it) grab myself a pen and paper for the meal plan/shopping list first I think. Have a nice day everyone xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm off work today, as I've definitely caught the cold from DD. DS2 also has it. He's not often ill, but looked dreadful this morning, so I sent him back to bed. I'm sniffing pathetically and feeling sorry for myself.

I have done the washing up, and washed the main bedroom bedlinen, but it's going to be one of those days where I bribe myself to get anything done...The time on here is reward for what I've already done!

Johanne - do you go to a mother and baby group, or is there an NCT bumps and babies group near you? You can find one on the NCT website. It sounds like you could do with some company. The cleaning will always wait for you - it always does...

    Mudbath - Lemon Drizzle cake

    6oz margarine
    6oz sugar
    6oz sr flour
    3 eggs

    1 lemon
    4oz granulated sugar

Cream margarine and sugar, beat in eggs, fold in flour, with grated rind of the lemon. I bake for 20 minutes at 160C in a fan oven, using a 7inch x 101/2 inch tray lined with baking parchment.

Squeeze lemon juice and mix with the 4oz of sugar. When cake comes out of oven, pour over the lemon and sugar glaze, and leave to cool. The lemon soaks into the cake, leaving a crispy sugar coating.

I have had a lemon drizzle where the icing is done with icing sugar mixed with lemon juice, but it doesn't soak in.

Now I may just have to have a slice with a coffee. :D

Morning...another tired one here. I really want to go back to bed but I've too much to do. Does anyone know if you can freeze chocolate liquors? My local newsagent has given me a big box of liquors that were out of date at the end of May, it's the biggest box you've ever seen and they're lovely but there's no way I want to eat them quickly. I've given my mum and dad half but there's still tonnes left. Can I freeze?

Have a good day everyone. Thinking of you PF...good luck xx

Well the washing is out, the livingroom is tidy (except for the desk which I'm working on :p ), S&S in kitchen and bathroom done, beds are airing so I might just get around to some studying once I've finished the desk... :D:rotfl:

    From chocolate website

"Keeping chocolate in the 'fridge or the freezer is not recommended, as it gets slightly damp when it warms up, which can lead to it 'blooming'"

They'll still be edible but won't look pretty as the shine on the chocolate will go and they'll get a white patina.
