Links in signatures

My experience is that new users are able to post links in their signatures... see quite a lot of spammers who post their referral links in them... (and old users seem to be able to do it aswell)...

Would be great if they did actually have to get permission before posting a weblink in the signature... interested to see what happens... :cool:

Obviously I can't comment on what the MSE team might have done, but the sensible policy would have been to globally deny links in signatures for all normal users, but then individually allow exceptions according to the the list.

I read it that no user can put a link in signature and those allowed would have it manually added.

I think I may have already had it updated once before, maybe I get to do it again.

Yes, I got a thing about sigs after having mine deleted a few times when it never even had a link in it.
