why not just buy an mmc card reader? and get them onto your computer... or use a bluetooth dongle to send it via bluetooth to your pc (if the phone has bluetooth)

Texts are often on the SIM card and (with more increasing regularity) on the phone's internal memory, but I don't know of a phone which keeps text messages on the MicroSD/memory card by default. I take it you enabled this feature? If yes, the data has to be on there somewhere, so what phone did you have?

It was N70, every time I backed up, it used more memory, so I assumed everything was being saved.
All the card reader shows is 8 photos, could it be the reader, not sure how good it is.
