Trying to do this via Bluetooth (worked ok on XP). Original Nokia cd isn't compatible. Searched for drivers on pc: no success. Tried Nokia website: the 6230i wasn't listed.(by the way the dongle is working ok).
Haven't got Infrared on pc. Would simply using a data cable between phone and pc work ( WITHOUT installing the Nokia PC suite)?

Download nokia pc suite from the nokia site, version will work with vista
Or you could select the file you wish to send and choose send, then via bluetooth, find your pc and then send!
Otherwise if you intend to use the cable you will need to the usb cables driver, which are only available when you install pc suiteSLC: £13000+
