also keep in mind that if you are talking about a '3' network 3G sim, then they do not like people to use phones other then the one they signed up with (and may even terminate your contract if you do!)0

i heard it works in a nokia 3220 phone from some old posts...search this site, but as harry pointed out they give you a few warning and then no more 30

hello, many of the newer nokia's will actually work with a '3' sim, these include the 6230i aswell as the 3220 mentioned in the previous post, a handful of sonyericsson's work too, the older t68i certainly did.
if your on payg with '3' i wouldn't worry much, however if your on contract with them then you are likely to get a text through after about a month threatening you that if your sim isn't used in a 3g phone then you are in breach of contract.
the reason for this is becuase when not using '3' your actually hopping on to 'o2's network which costs '3' more money.
my friend just puts his 3g sim in a 3g phone once a month after getting this warning text through from '3' then use's his 3220, he 'seems' to of got away with this for the last few months...
hope it helps0 -
I have no idea whether this guy knows what he's talking about or not, but i was wondering the same thing and came across this list when searching on google.
