    Hi Rylynn Honey,

You are doing so well already & you`ve only been here a few days!! You should really feel proud of yourself for tackling your debt & making positive steps. I know how illness can bring you down but if you write down your plan of action then you will always know your next move.

Don`t worry if you have bad days...we all do!!(today in particular for me but getting there!!) just remember a good one will be along very soon!!

Also give your Mum a big hug...she is a diamond!

    Take care, Angiexx

Thanks Angie, as you say some days are worse than others. At least I will be home in time to make some calls tomorrow which is the first thing I need to do. Then I need to sort out who I need to go and take advice from on some of the things that have been discussed here as it seems there are many things I need to get straight.

I think I also need to recall this Payplan mob, and see just what they intend to do, what details they can send to me regarding the creditors, and any other forms I think they have I will need, including my first sign up with them as I dont appear to have a copy of this, but it was 2005, and it may have been filed in my stuff in the loft, which is not somewhere I can get til my elder daughter comes over.

Mum is a diamond, and so is my youngest son, well he has his moments! teenagers are a pain in the butt at times!

Angie what is a BSC supporter I keep seeing it and wondering!

    Morn RY

Keep up the good work you are doing really well. Just a thought would the ME society help with the bc fees?. I know that severn trent and some other utilities help and we had a poster the other day who is struggling with the fees and she was going to try her MS society.Might be worth looking into.D

    Hi Rylynn

Just read your thread & well done for sharing...(ps noticed you got your BSC number as well)

In terms of the work bullying issue...make sure that you keep a record of events. If you get to a position where you need/can take grievence then you will need specific dates etc.

You are having a tough time but we will all help as much as we can.

    Have a good day, Angiex

    Hi Rylynn
Will do my best to answer some of your queries but I would recommend that you contact one of the free debt charities as at the very least you need to review your income & expenditure.
Re Mom's contributions to bills , this will still have to be included but you need to review budget as your expenditure is going up and your income has reduced. Also some of the guidelines on bankruptcy are slightly more generous than for normal debt advice.

Bank - Nat West will propbably close a/c when you go bankrupt so you can go to Barclays (will ocnsider someone who has debts with them) or Co-operative for new a/c that you can open after been to court. You can use Mom's a/c for now.

Car - usually exempt if worth less than £2000 IF essential for work, hospital appointments, etc. You do have to make a good case for keeping car, which I dont think will be too difficult for you.

Pension - should be safe if an approved company scheme and you can continue to make payments to it so long as not excessive.

Now on a personal front it is very much a win, win situation for you! You will feel less stressed once you file for bankruptcy and you may find your symptoms will lessen as you start to relax! Go for it, you have absolutely nothing to lose! Best of luck.

I confuse easily as well Summer, and having had to do fill in I&E for an IVA is not the same as this as they do not seem to allow you the same level of money for certain things.

I tried to take my mind off it today, I am a avid Tennis fan and my fav is Nadal, so I watched him beat Federer today, I then spent some time in the garden as I have to get as much sunlight as possible due to the Vit deficiency.

Me too. I heart Nadal. :j I feel better today, thanks for the posts last night. I've nearly done the forms and have meeting with Debt Specialist tomorrow. :T

    How are you today? x

Okay thank you for your reply..

    1. Since the IVA in 2005 everthing has gone up drastically, but I need to be very careful I do not end up with a no BR being agreed due to insolvency, as I have just read on here about someone who has £600 more going out than coming in! not that for one moment I think that will be the case. So need to do an I&E.

    2. Have not spoken to mum about this yet, she does so much now aged 73 I dont want to spring this on her as well right now. When I went into the IVA my son let me use his savings account for a while, I may well ask him again, but had to pay everything at that time manually so to speak, as all but two bills here are paid by DDs. I also realise she would have to contribute something to live here with me.

    3. Intend taking whole day off on BR day and opening Co-Op account, but scared to read people are being refused!

    4. Car exemption, now when you say Essential, you mean just that, but there are buses, but I was told not to stand waiting for buses when I returned to work, so got a taxi there and bus home, not good the taxi was £6 on average, more if the train barrier came down!

If I had to get taxis both ways which I think my doctor would advise I would be looking at £60 per week! Hospital again bus service but it is the waiting for one that is the problem, as I cannot stand for long periods of time without it affecting the ME. At work the Occ Health doctor asked for me to use one of the disabled bays following a knee surgery in 2005, knee is still bad and twice the size of the other one, operation not that successful, and he was happy to hear I still was when I returned after the 11 months off with ME. I am seeing him tomorrow and want this put in the letter to my company as it has been queried as I said here earlier. Car is worth £1300 according to Parkers I think.

    3. Pension is NHS and my friend fredsnail on here said that she cannot imagine the NHS would not have an approved scheme, but obviously I need to check that out. I pay less in as I work less hours right now, and it has just risen to 6.5% from 6%. I have only been paying for 5 years (employed as Civil Servant for just under 2 years before chucked in the NHS) and I have not bought any more years or anything like that.

On my health, when I took out the IVA I was in reasonable health other than my knee which had been a problem for 2 years. This time I have the disadvantage of the ME, which plays up with stress, but I am trying to stay positive here, and get as much information as I can, and not worry every moment about it, what will be will be is my motto, I cannot move mountains, but I can start with the hills.:rotfl:

Will post shortly my little diary for the day as well. Off to see what tennis is on at Queens.
