And the shop smells a bit musty overall....
Hmm which store is this you are describing? Plants have had a lot of problems in all our stores, the dry environment and lack of care to keep them fed and watered, has led to deterioration of some of them.
What i can say though, if you have a passion for gardening, ask at the CS Desk if you can get a reduction on damaged plants, i often give out reductions, knowing that the plants will be better off with a caring person than at our stores!
It is strange you mention the smell, our store seems to be ok, unless there is a spillage of something, however they are usually dealt with quickly. Hopefully Wilkinson will change for the better though when stores get refurbished and there is more emphasis on customers.0 -

I agree
talking of peanuts lol, we have Bird peanuts only £1.99/Kilo and Sometimes Tubs of 50 Bird fat balls for only £6. I think we are the cheapest for Bird Stuff, i've seen Tesco and they charge a fortune for their peanuts and so do Squires etc.
The same theory goes for the 99p/£1 stores, do you really expect a great shopping experience and service if things are so cheap in there? Sometimes the company values relate to the quality of staff training, which is why not all stores are so well reviewed!0 -
Although they definately aren't the cheapest when it comes to branded toiletriesBuy for value not cost.
Feb Grocery = £55.87 / 800 -

I agree somewhat with what you said, i know sometimes we aren't the cheapest, however most of the time we are. That section is very competitive between shops as they're always offering BOGOF deals so it becomes easy for certain items to be classed cheaper in other stores. But if you dont include promotions, i would say our general prices on branded toiletries beat most of the major supermarkets and retailers.0 -
