Hi Skib
I'm not very up on payplan, but, no they're not a charity as such ( i think they are funded by the CCs companies) and deal with IVAs/DMPS mostly.
I doubt the co-op would think its odd to remove your name from a joint account. I guess they'd presume that there were 'relationship probs' and wouldn't delve too far.
Is the account in credit? they won't allow you to remove your name if its not.
Yep, call for free advice from CCCS or Nat debtline.
Give the court a call to find out how they work things. Some offer a drop in service where you turn up on the day, others require you to have an appointment and this can vary from 1-3 weeks time (ish)
You'll also need to decide how your going to do the papers. They can be collected from court or downloaded off the internet and filled in by hand, or they can be filled in and submitted on line. Your choice.
Best of luckThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0
