best option for 2 holiday partys calling each other in majorca

Hi we are a party of 6 going to majorca in July and was wondering what the best option was in reagrd to sim cards.
Basically 2 of our party are staying in an apartment which is a little bit away from the rest of us. So we need to know what the best and cheapest option for making calls or texts to each other to arrange meets during the day.
Any ideas and suggestions greatly appreciated

If you have got unlocked phones, I would go for 2 local payg sim cards.

If you are both on O2 contracts, then 1 international text= 4 texts out of your normal UK allowance...
Or you could bag yourself a couple of sim4travel sims (as recommended on this site a while back) and use them in unlocked phones.

When I am in the US, I often use my phone's wifi connection to make VOIP calls. It's an awful lot cheaper to use Gizmo than to pay for a calling card, provided you can get an available wireless connection.
