Two BT broadband contracts

Hi,
Both my girlfirend and myself have BT broadband contracts in our separate flats, mine expires September, hers January. We are moving in together in July, and we obviously don't need both...
is there any way to work this so that we can be released from one of the contracts? are BT likely to do this? I was thinking of allowing mine to run out, cancelling it and then moving hers to the new address, but would this be any better than pulling out of the contract?
Just thought I'd get some opinions before spending untold hours on the phone with them.
Thanks

Doubtful tbh, one of them will have to be paid off/cancelled0

You'll need to pay out the contract as above, end the one with shortest time to go obviously. Either way you will need to wait till towards the end of the contract to give notice on terminating it.0

thanks guys.
are there any other consequences of terminating contracts, do they have any effect on something like credit rating for example?0 -
Nah no effect on credit ratings if you cancel0
