Having scanned the posts, it has become very apparent that many of us are extremely frustrated with the isa transfer processes whether that be with Lloyds,NW, A&L, Abbey etc etc.
Is there anyone out there (anonymous or otherwise) that can come onto this thread and come clean as to why this is, THE TRUTH!!.:T I'd much rather the banks say 'we are snowed under and have ballsed it up' rather that keep fobbing us all off with 'we are dealing with cheques from the 9th May'.
I'm sick of MY MONEY being in limbo:mad:
Also - any good transfer stories please:D

it does seem like we are all in a position where we have to bend over, think of england and just take a damn good rogering doesn't it.
I have two different ISA's to transfer (to Nationwide) and started on April 5th.
One has gone over fine (Bradford and Bingley), but the other one (Barclays) say they haven't even had a transfer request.
Nationwide say that they have resent the request on June 2nd, and that the 30 day lead time promise STARTS AGAIN...so now I'm probably looking at sometime in mid july.
"So, you set a 30 day lead time promise, but if you fail to meet that promise, you simply reset the clock"
"It's not our fault"
I'm sorely tempted to go down to the Nationwide branch and defecate on my personal bankers desk.0 -
I transfered 2xYorkshire and B&B to Icesave.
All very painless. B&B took a while to action the request and the money was missing for just over a week.
Yorkshire were pretty good and the money took a couple of days to transfer.
It appears as a cheque so I'm guessing Yorkshire sends this on the day the account is closed whereas it looks like B&B waits a bit before issuing it.0
