Internet Security

Last year I purchased a Norton Internet Security package from PC World. I think it was a half price deal and cost about £25. It is now just about to expire. I am not sure how much they want for me to resubscribe but I was just wondering what the best/cheapest internet security package was.

I don't know much about computers so please don't send me a load of techno jargon.

  • Have a look in the Techie Board where you will find the best/cheapest here
as they are all free icon7.gif

The users on the Techie board will talk you through any problems you have regarding uninstalling and/or installing software and they are very helpful.

It's approx £25 to re-subscribe for another year. It's better to ask them to send you the 2005 Upgrade package which costs the same (£25 incl delivery).

Alternatively, you could buy an OEM Norton Internet Security 2005 disk from ebay  . These currently sell for approx £15 including delivery and will have the all important security key on the back to allow you to subscribe to the Update services for another year. You will need to Uninstall your existing Norton Internet Security package when the current subscription expires and then install this new version and run Live Update.
