I'm okay. Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow - bit nervous, but will be nice. Life is all a bit complicated. Got an appointment with Eating Disorders service on Friday. Not going to pull out this time. I just swing between thinking "Yes, I'm bulimic and I need help" and thinking "I'm not really bulimic" and allsorts of other stuff. Normal people don't make themselves throw up do they? My head is still a little crazy, but a lot of the 'bad' thoughts are gone thanks to the medication. Can I borrow a cat? I could do with a cuddle :)

How are you? Hope DH recovers soon, for your sake as much as his!

FG you can borrow either cat - do you want the noisy one which constantly miaows or the naughty one which bites? lol.

DH has come downstairs now moaning because he wanted to watch a film & moaning because I was watching something else. Never mind the fact the film had started at 9 and we have missed the first hour of it already!!! Now he has put his radio headphones on and it sounds like he is just listening to static.

Hope lunch tomorrow goes well & good luck with the appointment on Friday. I don't have an ED so don't really know what to say that might help. All I do know is that sometimes it is difficult to ask for help - I know I have been depressed since August last year and I did confide in a friend at work but I didnt go and see my GP until April this year - and that was only because it had got to the stage where I coulnt do my work properly any more and couldnt concentrate on driving so actually getting to work in rush hour was no longer safe.

So I guess what I am saying in a roundabout way is sometimes it takes a lot to 1) admit that there is something wrong (whatever that might be!) and 2) even when you have admitted it to yourself it can still be hard to take the next step and ask for help. I do hope you get to the appointment and that it goes OK.

I just found some old photos from early last year of my friends and I. I look so different. I look a lot healthier compared to how I am now. To be honest when I compare myself now to how I was then, I look so ill and frail now. :(
I have good memories of the friends Blade said I didn't deserve and the friends he hated. The memories remain but the friends are gone. :(

Awww I wish I had time to help at a cat shelter. I love the grotty old smelly grumpy ones - we took in a stray (we lost him in 2004 to cancer) but he had 10 good years with me. Still miss him loads - can remember still what he smelt like and he used to sleep on my pillow curled round my head. He would wash my face and then purr in my ear til we both fell a sleep. He did good for a cat that would not even come in the garden If we were there when we first met him.

Took me about a year to gain his trust and then one day he just appeared in the living room and never left! I think sometimes with cats they are like human partners - you can have many friends but only rarely to you find one who moves your soul.

Edit: I've just realised my only photo of him is on my desk at work. I hope it is still there when I get back. Think I might have to phone and check.

I videoed the cats last week, there's one clip that's amazing, what one of the kitties does ... shame I can't post it here.
