What part of Spain did you live in?

I've been living in Spain (Barcelona) for 1.5 years, we've been together for 1 year. Not making excuses for OH, cos he's being a git! but he himself has psychological 'issues' - I'm not sure exactly how to describe them, but he doesn't easily let people close to him, and I think he's probably quite introverted. So he's not finding it easy to cope with me, frankly I think he gets mad at me because it reminds him of himself! Add joblessness, lack of money, lack of privacy from flatsharing (although we do get on well with our flatmates) and then throw linguistic confusion into the mix ... sigh ...

Glad York went OK Steph, would love to go back sometime!

feel like a crap mum, and feel ashamed of myself. not touched alcohol in weeks, but i bought big bottle of cider on way home, to help me relax later, i am so wound up

hi ccstar, yeah looking back the driver was prob scared or shocked, its not everyday that your driving along and somebody throws a traffic cone in front of car, thanks for hugs and making me see other person's side in this. how are you?
morning all, can remember one of reasons that i gave up drinking alcohol, and thats the fact that it always make s me wake up early next day, been up since 5.30:eek:
wasn't a big bottle as in 3 litres size, for those worrying about me drinking and taking anti d's but a 750ml size. had desired effect and helped me relax, will be leaving it alone again for a while now. would like to say i give it up totally, but i have said that many times before.

Gosh, Steph, another early riser!!

Chollita, I lived in Mallorca 15 years. It all started as me going over as a rep. Been back in Scotland 10 years now. It was a bit of a culture shock coming back here!

I can see why the pressure is on you both just now! The stress of the situation will put pressure on your relationship. Hopefully as things improve you will both start feeling better.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

We went to the beach yesterday & had a picnic - took a couple of books with me and had a really relaxing afternoon.

Last night DH slept in spare room (we sometimes keep each other awake cos we both have difficulty sleeping ) but I slept really well and when I woke up one of my cats had sneaked in overnight and was snuggled up next to me. The other one is now asleep with her head on my shoulder at the moment.

Havent spoken to my sister since she cancelled Friday but will try and call her today. May just text her as it is easier - talking on the phone is sometimes awkward for me.

Shaz - really felt for you with what happened with DS and the traffic cone etc. Its put my concerns about my DH and the public into perspective a bit!

Morning everyone.

I had another nightmare last night. Well, I always have nightmares anyway but this was a new one. I won't go into details but it was a)really weird and b)scary.

I'm going to try and go to hunts.mind today and get some batteries so I can do a bit of photography at Riverside. I'm also going to take Nikki's birthday card with me just incase she's at hunts.mind.

It took me ages to decide what to wear this morning. My wardrobe looked like a bomb had hit it after I had decided. :rotfl:

Spider is still in the corner of the room freaking me out.lol. Why does it need to be where my plug and mirror are? I need to dry my hair and I need that plug. :rotfl: Spiders are so inconsiderate. :rotfl:
