Got an appointment with a GP later. Need to get some a new script, and ask for a referal to a dietician. I'm also going to enquire about weightloss medication - my normal GP said nothing was suitable, but just want to double check. Also need to find out about restless leg syndrome, its got incredibly painful since I stopped taking my antidepressants. I'm going to mention how I'm feeling, and hopefully will persuade her to give me something for the anxiety, to get me through to CPN appointment on Friday. I'm 'okay' now. I've got the urge to resist, but if I fall a bit lower, I'm scared that I will lose this urge to stay alive and give in. Either that, or I'm just attention seeking!

Fairy Dawn - 3am!! Thats a bit early! Hope you manage to enjoy the cinema, sometimes a sneaky nap where you shouldn't be having one is the best kind of sleep! Hope the pain isn't too bad today xx

Tulip - Have a lovely time at the pub :) I keep meaning to ask, is your pottery class an 'art therapy' type thing, or just a fun class?

LM - How are you feeling today? ((Hugs)) if you need them. Hope you get to see your friend there. I've got a Mind reasonably near by, what are the drop in sessions like? I hope you found some distractions last night. I was tidying last night, I think "I'm miserable anyway, so I might aswell be miserable in a tidy house!". Sometimes getting absorbed into a job like sorting can really help. Just got to keep finding little bits of distraction and relief where we can don't we.

Tiff - Why didn't I think of getting some hunky firemen round last time Bert (the cat) climbed the tree?! Instead, I had to stand underneath with a stretch out blanket for over an hour till I persuaded him to jump! Hope you have a nice day xx

Shaz - hope you aren't too tired today. I know what you mean about your brain - I end up thinking and thinking and not sleeping! Have you tried counting sheep? Or writing everything down, folding the paper and putting it under you pillow to 'save that for the morning'? Sounds silly but sometimes helps!

Steph - Ouch! Hope you ankles get better soon. Like Shaz says, maybe get them checked out? The first time every year that I get bitten, I swell up something awful, but am fine for the rest of summer. Are you like that too? Nice to see you back :)

Alba - Thank-you for letting me vent last night. Hope you slept well :)

QB - Morning hugs needed here please!! And some for you: ((Hugs)) Where did you see Concord? My Grandad was an engineer that worked on it :D

Meyore - How are you this morning? Did you have a nice dinner at your Dads?

Curled - Nice to meet you :) ((Hugs)) I am sorry you are going through such a bad time at the moment. Its good that you are trying to look at things in a rational way - it isn't always easy! Like Tiff said, some days were are more than entitled to have a bit of 'me' time, so don't feel bad for not visiting your Mother-In-Law. We all need to recharge our batteries some times. How is your back this morning? I hope a good sleep has helped a little.

Juno - that cycling training sounds great. I fell off my bike a couple of years ago, and haven't dared get back on. Something like that to get my confidence back would be ideal. Not only do you get love and support on this thread, you learn about things you didn't know exsisted! Keep us posted, hope you'll be cycling here, there and everwhere soon!

WhiteVanWoman - I am taking your chocolate advice today :D Although I still feel a little guilty at having two puddings when I went out to eat with family. I just couldn't decide between white chocolate icecream and creme brulee! Hope you are having a good, chocolately day :)

BMF - Lovely to see you, your green text always makes me smile :) I hope you are feeling a little better and not so 'bleurgh'. Thats a brilliant, descriptive word, I'll remember that!

Top Drawer - How are your computer problems? Its annoying that you only just got it back 'fixed' and its gone again! More trouble than good these PCs sometimes. Although this thread wouldn't work so well without them would it! Imagine this all on paper! Hope you get it sorted and get back to us quickly :)

Chollita - Mayo is so adorable! I hope that either you can keep her or she gets to go to a very loving home. I adopted a Bunny a few weeks ago, and I was a little sad watching the Rescue lady say goodbye to her - very emotional! I'd love to volunteer to help with animals. I emailled my local RSPCA to enquire about fostering Cats, but they never replied! Hope you are okay and enjoying the weather there!

ILGD - Things okay at Planet Chaos? Hope you get a quiet moment and can check in with us soon :)

SF - you okay sweetie? Hope you got all your things sorted out and that you are feeling okay. Thinking of you, let us know you are okay when you get a chance :)

RBK - How are you doing? Hope all is okay. How are things at work? I'm always here if you ever want to talk xx

Rose - Hope you are alright and the holiday is/was nice and relaxing. I want to see pictures :)

We've got a few people on walk-about it seems! KentishLady, Steph123, SantasHelper, GeminiLady, Hazey, Weegie, LTD and everyone, hope you are all as well as possible.

    Heya Fg

I'm okay. Surviving as best I can. :)

The MIND drop ins are great. That's how I met Nikki. It's really informal and everyone just chats and has tea and coffee. It's just a place to let go really. I've been going for almost 3 years now. :)

I managed not to hurt myself, even though the urges were very strong. I did some writing and photography to take my mind off of things.

    How are you today hun?

    xx

    :hello: Hi all.

Sorry I've been a been a bit lax on keeping in touch. Had a busy weekend - saturday was cleaning the whole house top to bottom which took ages cos it hadnt been done for a couple of weeks.

Yesterday sister, her hubbie & babie came over for a coffee and for her hubbie to help me measure up the shed so we can replace the roof. Was really pleased they brought the baby over cos he got to meet his uncle properly! DH was quite enamoured and was talking about him for a couple of hours after they left.

DH has been inspired to finally take down the wall around the catio. Will try to post piccy of work in progress in a mo. I now have loads of plans for the garden and my head is spinning!!!!! Last night I couldnt sleep cos I kept thinking about it and what I want to do. Money is tight so was working out costs in my head.

Not been so good really in myself - thought the anti-ds were kicking in but spent most of the weekend feeling really weepy for no good reason. Even DH picked up on it (and he is normally thicker skinned than an elephant). The poor cats didnt know what to do - by yesterday evening I was on the sofa with baby cat snuggling up to my lap and fluffy cat snuggled round my shoulders - all without me having to ask them!!

Hope you are all OK - Anni & Shaz been thinking about you both. Hope this week goes better for you both. Wish we had a mind drop in in our town - the nearest is in the next town south from us and that is half an hour in the car or an hour on the bus - too far for DH to go on his own. (He'd get lost). We both loved going when we lived in London.
