orange payg-£5 unlimited wknd calls

this may be handy for someone,
but i am at my wits end with my teenager being on phone all weekend, because she 'has to make the most of free calls mum'. she tops up with £5 which gives her unlimited orange-orange and orange-landline calls over the weekend.
she is the one who does the chatting, and i am the one who ends up witha headache.
i think its about £10 or something similar during the weekdays.
is this the answer to vodas 'stop the clock?'
Nice to save.

    Hello,

Never seen or heard this before.

    Do you have anymore details?
  • she just phones cs up on friday nights and requests this and they activate it for her.
i myself was quite surprised as well because i havent seen or heard aabout this or advertised anywhere.
dont know where she got it from and shes not likely to tell me , so i havent bothered asking her. tho will try when shes in a better mood , usually when she wants a favour doing.
will inform if i manage to get anything out of her!
    Nice to save.

This is an Orange extra... and there are loads of them:

I think the 120 mins to any Orange phone or landline (valid for 7 days) is pretty good deal too.

Very strange pricing structure whe you compare :

60 minutes of calls anytime to mobiles and landlines in the UK - £5 (8p per minute) valid for 7 days from time of purchase

    versus

50 minutes of calls anytime to mobiles and landlines in the UK - £12 (24p per minute) valid for 1 calendar month from time of purchase

Am I missing something obvious ?

beat around the bush and got it out of her, here goes:-

top up with £5 for unlim. wknd calls or.-or/landlilne
top up with £10 and request unlim. wknd and evening calls i.e. after 7pm

    hope this is clearer.
