Awesome - I love this stuff - I don't drink normal tea or coffee since discovering RedBush Tea - I'm sure it has addictive properties...
Interesting comment! Why are you "sure" it has addictive properties?
I'm asking because I really suspect it does!
I drink my redbush tea in pint-sized mugs. One redbush tea-bag per pint makes a strong and delicious hot drink, with a dash of milk.
But I tell you, after having been on redbush now for a couple of years, I am truly gasping, rather desperately, for my next pint at various points in the afternoon. It's not just a case of: "Oh, wouldn't it be nice to have another cuppa!" No, I'm out there in the garden working and I actually think, "I can't carry on with this work unless I get some more redbush into my mouth!"
The urge to drink it is very much in the mouth, in the tastebuds. My mouth feels somewhat dry and unsatisfied without it.
Does anybody else identify with this?
Redbush is a relatively new drink in the UK. It could be that it is more addictive than has been previously thought.0 -
