Refund Faulty Item

you have been very generous in offering the partial refund, i would now retract that offer and ignore any further communication, except to reply to the ebay dispute, she paid cash so there is nothing she can do. what sort of dispute has she opened?0

whoops, I just go into paypal mode.
In that case scrub everything and ignore me. There is nothing at all that ebay can do to you except to suggest you refund, which you already offered.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks to you all for your advice, you're all fab!
She's opened a "significantly not as described" dispute. I'm going to let her know that ebay can't do anything else to get her money back and suggest that she accepts my partial refund. I don't care if she manages to get my ebay account suspended (worst case scenario), as this experience has well and truly put me off the blinkin' thing anyway!!0 -
I can't believe anyone would pay that amount of money for a 30 year old bike! :rotfl:0

She could afford the petrol to come and get it though; or did she take the bus and ride it home?0

She picked it up in an expensive car. I guess they use a lot of petrol.
It's just greedy to ask for an additional £25 for petrol when you've already been offered a full refund, no questions asked!0 -
Personally I would withdraw the partial refund too. As others have said, she paid in cash so there is nothing that e-bay can do to make you refund at all.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

I wouldn't even bother doing that if I was you. It sounds like she's been a total PITA and by opening a dispute it seems like she rejected the offer of a partial refund. Ignore her emails, add her to the blocked bidder list and forget about her! She paid in cash so ebay aren't going to do anything.:j30/7/10:j

But if you ignore her, she knows where you live...?????? She might come round to speak to you?????You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0
