oil central heating

Hello,
Can anybody tell me how much I should budget for oil for heating a 3 bedroomed house I'll be moving to later in the year? I don't know how much the tank will hold in measurement or in pounds but I am trying to get an idea of what I should set aside each month for oil (assuming there is some left on earth by the time the sale goes through)
Cheers for any help

I think we used about 1800 litres during the last 6 month Nov - April heating season averaging 10 litres per day. This was with careful but comfortable running an hour in the morning and 6 ish hours at night. Weekends and school holidays it was on more of the time.
We don't use it May - Oct.
Cost at 30 p per litre was £540. It is at least double that at the moment.
You probably have to budget for £100 per month for the year and monitor your consumption as the months go by.
It would be easy to use more than that, but the house could be improved with better draft proofing.0 -
Thanks Paceinternet,
I've just sat and worked out the (guestimate) sums as 1500 litres and £1080 per year (£90 per month). Luckily the cat has a fur coat so I'll just need to pick up some jumpers in the charity shops for myself and OH! We'll keep warm mucking the horse out each night in winter as well:rotfl:
