Back from picking up the car - new breakpads = £91 including VAT and everything. Not too bad :)
And budgeted for so not too worried really. We're off out clubbing with friends tonight so that'll burn off £35 in drinks and probably £20-£30 for getting there and back. We don't go out much to clubs so am gonna enjoy myself tonight :) Now... what to wear!! Hmmmmm choices choices.

When I go out clubbing my friend and I both have hipflasks with Jack Daniels in it that we put in our handbags. We buy cola all night and have a trip to the loos to pop the JD in (by the end of the night we dont even bother doing that).

Last time we were out I spent the grand total of £15 and that included chips and gravy at the end of the night:D We are lucky with transport though as my OH takes us and her OH brings us back:A

We have done this for the last 8 years without a problem.

We also work on the premise that once the JD has gone we stop drinking alcohol and just stick with the cola..........reduces the hangover the next morning:cool:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I used to do that when I was 18, but I haven't done it recently - think I will have to start again though. I love JD but am allergic to coke (apart from caffeine free), so I tend to drink vodka and tonic when I go out. I'm sure a little bottle of vodka would fit easily into my handbag. :D

Of course it would, we used to take miniatures out with us and re-use them but my Mum bought me a hipflask with my initials on it.:A

I have on one occassion bought 4 bottles of smirnoff ice (quite liked them when they first came out) and taken them in a large handbag with bottle opener.....even had the cheek to ask for a straw behind the bar but at £4.50 a bottle in the bars can you blame me:rolleyes:

No, it's a standard family-entertainment break. Don't tell Wayne, but I'm sussing out their spa facilities as the girls in the family (his and mine) are thinking of having a spa break next year; I know it's not cheap but it's my treat for giving up smoking!!!

Hoping to see lots of pics from tomorrow's Glasgow meet!

It's alright if you're still happy to sit there still chewing it while everyone else has moved on through dessert and is now enjoying coffee.
