£100 o2 mobile internet bill

I recently started to use my mobile to check facebook (sad i know!).

A couple of times a day max.

I checked my bill for the month and it was just over £150. :eek:

This is compared to my average bill of between £30-£50 (with no internet usage).

Surely this cant be right?

Any idea's?

It costs £1 per mb, if i remember rightly.

I'm with O2 and pay 7 quid a month for 200mb's... Sounds like you need a similar plan

ask if you can arrange a payment plan with them so you dont have to pay it all back in one go

do you have an itemised bill with all the charges?
most people dont realise if you don't have a bundle on the account mobile internet can be very expensive
will have made a big difference depending on whether you went to https://www.facebook.com or https://www.m.facebook.com

is your phone configured to use WAP or GPRS, seems very high for "a couple of times". WAP usage would probably make a big difference, (as would being liberal with the truth about your usage!)

Stay the hell off of facebook unless you have an unlimited package. there is so much crap on facebook that downloads even at home take ages for the page to load.
