Did anyone just see this prog on 5 ?
What a load of crap.
St. Mawes, on the Cornish coast in the middle of nowhere, they say "excellent employment opportunities". !!!!!!???
And then about Llantwit Major, when they show numerous views of the pebble and seaweed covered rock "beach" - "some of the best golden sands in Britain". !!!!!!???
And why was the male presenter Ian Blandford wearing his grandfather's clothes?
Rob

I saw the 2nd half. Missed St Mawes. I looked at St Mawes in 1998-2000, but decided there was nothing there so if one were to be a bit impoverished one would be well and truly stuck. It'd be a day trip to get a few basics by using the bus to get to a supermarket.
As for Llantwit, I hadn't realised it was AT the coast or I'd have gone there by now, so I did a quick maps.google .... and found [a] it wasn't it wasn't sandy.
boooooo was my rating for this rubbish.0 -
it was indeed truly dire
but the female presenter was far easier on the eye than Krusty from LLL.It's a health benefit ...0 -
It was more like an EA's publicity stunt for the purpose of flogging surplus 6-bedroom £1million houses.
Bore no relation to most people's real lives at all
.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Don't we all do that on our days off, sweetie darling?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
