can you haggle in shop with a PAC code?

vodafone, don't seem like they want to play ball. (see my other posts)
so my PAC code is on order.

i know a couple of friends, who have friends who work in mobile industry and got them very good deals etc.

so are shop prices fixed, is there any flexibility rrp costs?

    Phone market is VERY competitive... Have transferred my number from Orange to 3Mobile within 2 days. Apparently, it now only takes 2 days to port it.

    but say the n95 at three for £30 in store, can they do it better?

    I'm with O2 and my contract was coming to an end. The shops in town couldn't match, (didn't even try) to match the online prices through O2 retentions.

    no, they have no leeway at all, you will only get it cheaper if you are an existing customer upgrading

    i guess it's all about price, supply and demand.
    if they offered rates say like some new upgrade deals, some places would get alot more business.

    vodaphone shop is vodaphone shop, try carphone warehouse, phones4u etc.

    They usually give you a cracking deal.

    once i have my pac code and can't negotitate what i want, think i'll try and see what phones4u or carphonewarehouse can offer
