How long does a pulled item stay on your account for (I had a trademark violation the other day) - is it forever, or a limited amount of time??

Will the feedback you receive from buying, help your 'seller performance feedback' though? I'm a bit confused.

It doesn't sound as though it should but I got two positives last week for purchases on my selling account (complicated story!) and they have increased my overall monthly total in the little box thingy, so it looks like yes they do.

It used to stay there forever, so if a year or two down the line you had another problem you wouldn't get a warning it would go straight to a suspension. This is why we often get threads from people complaining they are suspended for one little thing..it usually means they forgot about something way back in the past. However, I have a warning on my main account from about 2001 for selling a Dirty Dancing video which they considered against their adult policy, and that certainly doesn't seem to have made any difference in my dashboard.

Here is a sad example of the new policy in action.

1152 feedback, 99.5%, DSR's all over 4.7, but one neg and 21 positive (as a seller) in the last 30 days has put them on holiday for a month.

Might be more to do with his replies to feedback than a neg & a neutral!

I have feedback of over 4500, feedback 99.8%, and had a toy cap gun removed under the Firearms restrictions, and my seller policy compliance is now poor, so if it never improves, then one more strike and I could be out - madness

I have been looking at some of these on the ebay community boards and it is so wrong.

Does anyone know how they calculate which 30 day period you fall into? Is there a specific timeframe or is it just when the powers that be decide it's time you went on gardening leave?

The only thing I can think of is if you are a small seller and you get a neg, list everything you can, as quickly as you can and as cheap as possible in the hope of building up those figures before the big red ban button is pressed. Otherwise you haven't got a hope in hell.
