When we went away for my works Christmas "do" - 1 night away, I took a make up holdall, skincare holdall, straighteners, overnight case of clothes and shoes.... he took his suit carrier and carried his toothbrush!! :rotfl:
Only advantage is I have all the bathroom cupboard space!!
Sorry about all these posts, Ladies, it's just nice to have some time on the PC to catch up (mind you, DS2 is currently doing "Bambi eyes" at me so I'm sure he'll start whining for me to get off so he can have a go soon!)
This is just like me and my OH - toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo and deodorant is about as good as it gets - big tough rugby player, dontcha know! Mind you, it's our 20th Wedding Anniversary on Weds , so he must be doing something right - other than letting me have all the space in the bathroom, LOL!:rotfl:0 -
Hi - I just wanted to thank the people who have posted tips on this thread this month. I am a closet Booster who shops intermittently - I can go for ages without buying much then when there is a deal to be had I haunt the place! :rotfl:
I'm off on holiday soon so the tips helped me to get some extra bargains while getting my BOGOF sun cream (with extra points using the magazine coupon) - I used 3 No 7 vouchers to help me complete a duplicate set of make up so that I could get packed early and not have to worry if I had forgotten anything. That enabled me to get one of each GWP with some useful bits in to add to my holiday make up bag - and treat my other half and sons to some items from the men's GWP they would never have bought for themselves!!!
I earned 2 fragrance vouchers along the way, which normally I would have binned (sorry!) as I was planning to buy perfume at the airport - but after reading about the bargain Davidoff Wave perfume I went along this morning to my local branch to get the price checked (showing as £21 but scanned as £10.50). The SA was very helpful and I bought 2 bottles at £5.50 each with my 2 £5 off vouchers. I don't think that Duty free would be able to beat that price!!!:j
I also found myself a pack of the Soap and Glory Mother Pucker lip gloss at £4.38 - I am pouting away and tingling like mad - what a weird sensation that is!!!
Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips - they have really helped me get myself ready and beautified for my holiday! :T0 -
walked through the little village where I live and had to walk past a closed boots. It broke my heart. I almost put my nose to the window shutters to see if I could see any reductions!'I'm not a girl, not yet a woman!' :whistle:Finished my exams now! YAY!:j :j0
