Now for my question. Has Boots withdrawn from all of the cashback sites as I can't find it anywhere?

Tried to get the Natural bag and other offers on Friday but there are none in my local Boots, or others nearest:cry:
  • good morning all!

I know that the no7 voucher expired yesterday-BUT do you think it will still be working today?? - any 'barcode experts' see anything that stops it going through??!!

Could some brave+kind person please try using a voucher if going in the morning and report back (I can't get to boots until after 1 so would love to know if i could use my last 2 today) - THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO WILL TRY!!XX

    Hi all,

just an update on the recall items mentioned the other day.

EU regulations are outlawing a certain ingredient from 22 june. As to what this ingredient is or why they are banning it i have no idea, but this is not a safety recall therefore there is NO danger from using the products. If there was a danger then the company would issue recall notices instore and to advantage card holders that had bought the effected products.

So just to repeat, there is NO danger from using the product. sounds like eu beaucracy (?) getting in the way again

No Probs, If they have one, I will buy it and PM you. If you find one in Southend and don't want another, I will just keep it for one of my nieces.

Just seen your reply as I decided to check the forum before I start making up the packed lunch for our day trip to Southend - Hubby is in bed having a 'Father's Day' lie in (which I might hasten to add he does every Saturday and Sunday!!!) Anyway I really hope you can get me one becaue I have just read a post further down the pages from another Bootser from Southend and it sounds like their clearance etc... is not that good - so maybe I will give Boots a miss when I'm there!!! I really hope it is sunny like it is here at the moment because the kids want to go to the beach!!!
Thanks again for your kind generosity - it is so good to see so many friendly people on this forum :A

    I have used 45. :o

Will post list tomorrow. DYS has hogged the computer all night:rolleyes:

Whoa, I thought I was going a little overboard at 11! But then again, all of mine are for me, and you may have some bodacious hampers in mind, lol.

On another note, has anyone tried the Elle massager? I bought it and the body scrub, got home and looked at it more closely, and don't think it will feel nice rubbing across my body. I don't want to just use it though, as I can still see if anyone I know wants to try it if I leave it unused.

I bought one of those to and thought I would road test it last week.Thing is I like a good scrub when showering so it was difficult to know how much pressure I should apply when massaging (to much evidently, managed to hurt my arms and chest a bit!) but I thought it was very good on the thighs and bum.

I was also unsure how much body scrub I should put in it so I put in as much as I would normally in a shower and discovered it was a bit rubbish coming out of the holes! I wasn't using the Elle body scrub as I still have some FCUK left but I imagine they are about the same consistency?

I had to keep running the massager under the shower to encourage the scrub to come out.

To be honest you could probably do better using your hands and as long as you are scrubbing in a circular motion it's pretty much the same as using the massager (I could be wrong though)

  • Hi HippyGirl,

I asked No7 SA which one to use to change colour of Miracle nail varnish and she said the Stay Perfect Clear which I got and it works! She did tell me it had to be a No7 clear varnish but I guess she would say that, wouldn't she?

I used an old 17 nail varnish over my Miracle one and it worked.
