Well abit of a disappointing visit to brent x boots today.
on the shelves no reductions for S&G, sanctuary etc so must be all over!! boo!
still no clearance shelf back.
but managed to pick up the Eve magazine for £1 with the bag which is airing out now as it had quite a plastic smell.
Just picked up some garnier sugar scrub at half price.

I snuck out of work on the last day of the facial skincare vouchers to spend my last voucher in my local Boots, and the staff there that day were so unhelpful, and one was downright rude, to the six customers trying to find something to use their vouchers on, that I haven't been in there since. I love mooching round Boots, but I hate being made to feel like a scrounger! I shall wait till I can go to a decent store. I emailed customer services, they were very kind and helpful, thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and assured me that they'd had words with my local branch, but I just don't feel like going back in there.

You have repeated almost word for word the conversation I had with my OH before about Boots marketing.

These vouchers get people into the store, which is exactly what they want. Whether they spend a little or a lot, they are spending. Also human nature being what it is we will buy other things too.

I remember my OH going to Tesco a few months ago just before closing. Security told him he didn't have long. He picked up the one item he went in for, paid and came out. The security man was amazed. He said that most people said they were going in for one thing and came out with a lot more. My OH was the exception, like Mrs average I am not.

Boots need to get their act together so customers do not feel humilated or embarressed or they will lose custom.

I think the Jet Black Dream Lash will be in stores after the current gwp ends, because you get the cute nail/brush kit with it as a gwp. I would see if they'll let you take it back, but maybe wait until the gwp is out.

MF black GWP (sign said free with 10.00 spend on cosmetics:j )

Total to pay: 4.20

I had this problem a while back. Someone on the techie board told me to enable java and it did the trick. Hope it works for you:D
