Afternoon ladies :j
Just back from paradise (okay just Boots) and thought I'd let you know what I found. With pics 'cos I'm sad. :rotfl:
Right I noticed some of these
which were reduced to 33p so who's gonna argue with that?!Great stocking fillers or even NC bag fillers.
Then these
except mine were the smaller size (75ml without pump) for 38p!! Again, great for sleep overs, gym bags or packing up for Xmas or birthday hampers.Boots.com have reduced the 250ml size to £1.99 but these are still better value - if my maths are correct.
Noticed a label by perfumes saying 60ml size reduced from £16 to £4 and that's enough to grab my attention. LOL. It was this
There were none on the shelf in the correct size so I asked a SA to scan one of those present for me to ascertain which size was actually on offer. (The 30 ml is showing on boots.com for a tenner so I'm pretty pleased with that!)
She scanned and said it was showing that there was a couple left so off she went to fetch me one! In the meantime I got a whiff of one of the larger bottles and it smelt really nice, fresh and vibrant. So I got that too. Was intending to give it to my daughter but the smell is really growing on me so she may lose out! Also have a £5 perfume voucher yet to spend so I am looking forward to seeing what I can find with that.
No 7 counter
My mum had requested 2 of these
and another nail varnish, Heavenly in Speed Dry. Reception was a little frosty so decided to head over to the other Boots store to finish off. Don't want miserable faces whilst Im shopping! :rotfl:
So new Boots shop (smaller range tho' ) got myself a Moisture Drench lipstick in Sugar Plum Feels really nice on the lips, not drying at all. :T
Also picked up an Amazing Eyes pencil in Blue/Grey and also a brow pencil in Blonde as my eyebrows are quite pale and there's nothing worse than over dark brows imo.Last on the list was one of these
to pop in my handbag for occasional use. There is no way I could take that loose powder thing out anywhere. LOL
Oops forgot to say I got myself one of those Eve mags this morning too with the free bag. The bag is actually really useful, mine had blue spots with rope handles and it is not one of those that drag along the floor when you put something in either! Not bad for a £1!! Choice of red or blue spots--loads of the mags in WHSmiths.
Also (promise I will go in a min :rotfl: ) in the Chester store there are still 3 MED GWP's if anyone is still looking for them. There were 2 S & G lip gloss packs the other day but I didn't believe the 'Before' price and now that I've checked they are gone! I will keep looking tho' crazyposhgal.
This Sanctuary Lomi Lomi Relaxing Floral Bath
was also reduced to £3.xx, has anyone tried it and is it worth buying? It smelt a little strong for me but I'm willing to be persuaded. LOL.
Anyone who does use Sanctuary the Spa Indulgence box is reduced on boots.com. Spotted it searching for pic for the bath stuff.
Now £7.50. Hope this helps someone.0 -
The Sanctuary candle I got yesterday was the Kyphi one, it comes in a dark red gift box and the glass the candle is in is clear with gold decorations. I thought it would make a fab end-of-year pressie for one of the teachers at school!

They should do, if you take it back with a Boots receipt. Good luck!

Is this the double ended thingy? Colour at one end then shiny slurpy glossy bit at the other?
If so, I ended up throwing both of mine away. Both leaked repeatedly in my make up box (I don't have a make up bag, I have a flipping great crate *smirk* :rotfl:) and I found that after a couple of hours it started to "flake" on my lips.
