I may just try that illuminating powder I have from the no7 coupon/glitch earlier this year first to see if it helps, but I'm not so sure it will. I love the feel of brushing it on, but it doesn't really seem to do much. I imagine these translucent powders do a bit more.

I got one of these loose powers but found it really awkward to get the 'right' amount of powder onto the brush. It was either way too much (like falling over the place or not enough for coverage)

I gave up with it and went back to a bronzer that I can brush on and regulate.

If you do use one sucessfully, you could always refill it from the illum powder, as they dont hold a great deal (especially if like me it goes all over the floor)

many thanks pollsdolls for the voucher to date I have:

    2 x eyeshadow
    2 x eyeshadow brush
    1 x lip brush

before friday I need to get:
    1 x powder
    3 x nail polish

and x 2 vouchers that I cant make my mind up what to get yet :)

every time I have used a voucher they have had to be put in manually (printed colour ones)

Hi freecyclebilly, the scanning of these vouchers seems really random doesn't it. My first 2 had to be scanned, but the next 14 (In a different store)went through fine.

Pleased you got some bargains with them. It always pays to have some spare, as it's a good opportunity to try new cosmetics at a reduced price.

Mine have all been on nail varnish products so far, but I may be more adventurous with the rest.;) At least if we have some left over by Saturday we wont feel like we are missing out, unlike with the tillsplits.

  • Is anyone else feeling like they are all no7'd out. I have used so many £5 vouchers to stock up on make up / nail varnish that it now seems like an indulgence. These vouchers are a fantastic way to spend money not save. I'd have never bought so much lately had it not been for the vouchers...... What am I saying:eek: I have another 4 left and boy am I gonna use 'em.

I asked an old friend who happens to be a no.7 SA and she told me she still gets the commission on these vouchers so they are ready and willing to accept them! she hadn't seen them before i showed her one and had not been told about it either.

So i can understand them maybe quering it but she was very insistant that i payed at her counter!...how could i refuse?

lol not packed yet! Well done sons thats easy, but not done mine! Will do about hr before i leave or i seem to keep changing my mind what to pack/not pack for about 6 hrs. Always fine I pack wrong stuff anyway...so this time I'm just wacking in at last minute to save the headache!

Will have great time everyone thankyou, best bit is, get to go to boots at gatwick too...yay!

Have a great hol broclo. Will you go to an internet cafe to catch up?
  • If Boots REALLY wanted to limit this offer to selected customers then they could do that in a mailing or through the ACM.
Alternatively they could limit the printing of vouchers to one per e-mail address, as Greggs do with their free sandwich vouchers and a one use only link.

I agree - there's no way Boots can be making major losses because of this voucher, there were probably far more of those till spits in January redeemed also for £5 off No7 with no minimum spend, and that definitely was a legit offer... I had seven of those!
