So presumably it was £11.50 to start off with it? The pressed powders were only (!) £11 each last week...have some of the prices been put up to counter all these £5 vouchers d'ya reckon?

nah - it was because i bought it in a central london store.

for some reason they put up the prices. which i hate - why dont they put up the prices in manchester city centre or cardiff city centre. it is city-ist lol

but i needed the powder cos i was melting in the sun and was going out, otherwise i would of waited and got it at a local boots

and can i say wow buffy - you have an amazing memory!!!!!

    Geeez......that takes me back....

I used to love No.7 mousse foundation, long before anyone else made it.
Not sure if they do it anymore......

Feelin a bit old now! :rotfl:
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Hi,

Online there are lots of fragrances at 50% off and some are included in the current voucher. However only a few of those are marked discounted on the shelves in the SEL. Has anyone tried scanning some of these fragrances to see if the price in store matches the online price? Last I got some Davidoff Game but ended up giving it away and would love to get a cheap one this year. It is not marked in the SEL.

Is the Smiley offer national or specific to some clearance section in a few stores? I've never seen it on offer before, I guess the big yellow smiley would have stood out. I hadn't heard of it before, but it seems interesting, especially if reduced.
    TIA

Bumping my post, since I did not get a reply. I guess no one knows. I am grounded at home (nothing serious), but would love an excuse to go bootsing, I mean, out :p.
  • Forget to say the other day OH and I went into Boots armed with £5 off No 7 vouchers. We each went to different tills to buy a couple of Stay Perfect nail varnishes and apparently at his till the voucher wouldn't scan and the SA typed the barcode in wrong first time and it came up as £20 off No 7 voucher!!!! Unfortunately she realised mistake and tried again, but that must mean that there is a £20 off barcode programmed into their tills with just a digit or two different......

I picked some Smiley perfume up on Tues & decided this am to give it a go.
I wasn't feeling un Smiley before but now I feel quite heady & nauseas.
I had no reason to try it either as OH has just left for Spain for 5 days so every reason to be happy really ( can Boots my heart out ).
Maybe you need to feel un smiley for it to have any effect.

Can you MIX the No7 suncare items for the BOGOF, cheapest item being free or must they be 2 the same, lip sunscreen, hair spitz etc

The No7 assistant just told me this evening that the email voucher is a scam, they had been told not to take them this morning. She was very nice about it and said she would go and check with the manager again when I said I had, had the email from Boots then came back and said we could use them but I doubt I'll try there again.

Strange scam, when they refuse to take the voucher then change their mind.

Were they accepting it as a goodwill gesture to you? or maybe they had realised that they were wrong, and it was a genuine offer and were too embarrassed to backtrack?

I'm sure someone said a while back that they tried it with a reduced line and it wouldn't work. However it does work with discounted lines.

Sorry, that doesn't help too much!

    Hope you're feeling better soon.x

I've bought mixed items as bogofs in this offer - lip screen and glossy locks - they were the same price, but I'm quite sure it works accross the range.
