im going for a short business trip to belfast nd my question is will my phone (on 3 network) work there...i cant afford to be without a phone as i need to make few calls on arrival...thanx

Comments

  • yes it will work but it,s not the greatest
  • When there is no 3 network coverage it uses the O2 network. You would lose video calling then though but ordinary calls should be ok.
  • I live in Belfast, a friend in the office uses the 3 network, and it is fine, i am sure that ur phone will work.

Belfast is only across the Irish sea, and we do have mobile masts. lol. :D

I have a 3 phone and I use it all the time in and around Belfast. No problems and most of the time I have a 3g signal.

thank you all guys.... im sure belfast has got mobile masts as i used to live there 6 years ago (before 3 network was vailable) but at that time i used to use mobile phone with a company called one 2 one in england and when i moved to belfast i was told that the comany does not cover n ireland so i had to pay the rent for the remaining 9 months of the contract without actually using the phone (i gave it to a friend to use in england)...thats why i thought i better check this time.
