Stocks and Shares ISAs - help!!

Sorry this sounds pathetic, but i am keen to stick money into a stocks and shares ISA but am finding it difficult to find and interpret advice re: 1. Whether this is a good earner 2. Which ones are the best 3. Whether the credit crunch makes this a good option 4. Is it risky?

Are there any good sites that give you a good run down of the products on offer? I cant find any advice from Martin in this area

Thanks

Hi I've used Fidelity for some of my ISAs, they have a very large selection of Funds in their Funds supermarket,if you are unsure about investing, have a read at this Guide. link to Fidelitys investment guide:

Also have a look at H&Ls website:

Fidelity are fine if you use an IFA. However, execution only is better with HL.

If you use Fidelity for execution only then you are basically paying for an adviser (Fidelity keeping what they would pay the adviser) without getting the servicing or advice.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.
