Transferring ISA twice in a year

I am confused by what I have read about this. Is it possible to put money into an ISA, eg Barclays, today, and then, if Barclays lower their rate in 6 months, move it again within this tax year to a more profitable provider? I had thought this was not allowed - once you have activated an ISA in any given tax year, you could not transfer to another. Am I correct?

Yes, you could, theoretically, transfer your Cash ISA every month, if you wished (and if ISA managers' transfer times permitted). Is it possible to put money into an ISA, eg Barclays, today, and then, if Barclays lower their rate in 6 months, move it again within this tax year to a more profitable provider?0 -
Thanks to you both0

Indeed, so long as all your current tax year subscriptions are in the same place at the same time you can do whatever you want :beer:0
