V21 Clients - CHECK YOUR PAYMENTS!!!

Hi guys - I recently noticed that my monthly payments to V21 were creeping forwards quite significantly. It all started in June when my Direct Debit was initiated on the 17th, in July it was the 11th, August 8th and then, unbelievably the 1st September and then another was taken on the 23rd of September. When I contacted V21 (0870 442 9600 customer support) they claim it is a server fault - they knew about the payments creeping forward but did nothing about it - you have to phone to have it adjusted. It now appears that the DD initiated on 23 September is for my bill on 16 October!!! They have made a manual correction - meaning that my next payment will not be until 15 November. BTW - did you know that it is not a monthly contract - it is a 30 days contract so it will creep forward naturally on 31-day months. So check your payments and phone 'em up to have it amended - maybe someone with more clout could have this done for us all - after all it was Moneysavingexpert who gave us this real gem - and it still is. 30 x 12 = 360 therfore 5 days extra a year or 6 years to pay for an extra a month

I have been with them for years on dial up and just checked, they have taken a full extra payment.

Until May 04 they always took payment on the 20th of the month (nothing back then about every 30 days). From then on it started moving:

19/05/04 - 17/06/04 - 15/07/04 - 17/08/04 - 14/09/04 - 11/10/04 - 11/11/04 - 20/12/04 - 10/01/05 - 8/02/05 - 8/03/05 - 7/04/05 - 7/05/05 - 5/06/05 - 29/06/05 - 26/07/05 - 18/08/05 - 16/09/05

I just checked mine .I had two payments in July and other payments where 23 days apart ,not 30 as they should be .
