Tesco credit card

I thin k it's better value using a normal cashback card (eg 1% with Egg Money) and also your clubcard and hit them tesco fiends with a double whammy! :cool:Best Regards,

If you use your clubcard in tesco you get 1 point for every £1 spent, so £4 = 4 points. So by using your credit card you are only getting 1 point extra. £4 spent = 5 points.
If you spend with your card elsewhere you get only 1/4 of a penny for every pound spent.
Every little (and it is little)helps.
AND I also use my 'ordinary' Clubcard Plus when I shop at Tesco (which isn't often), so I get 1pt per £ with the Clubcard and 5pts per £4 by using the Credit Card (making a total of 9pts per £). It's worked like that so far anyway...:rolleyes:A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

Not sure how the Clubcard Plus works but for me the tills only accept 1 Clubcard number (either my Clubcard or credit card) but the points go on the same account as standard Clubcard points either way. I then get extra Tesco Personal Finance points which are based on my credit card spend irrespective of where I shop.basketcase wrote: »AND I also use my 'ordinary' Clubcard Plus when I shop at Tesco (which isn't often), so I get 1pt per £ with the Clubcard and 5pts per £4 by using the Credit Card (making a total of 9pts per £). Can you do that - hand over your clubcard for the clubcard points and than pay with your credit card?0

Yes you can do any of the following with your credit card:Can you do that - hand over your clubcard for the clubcard points and than pay with your credit card?- Hand over Tesco credit card (its number is taken as Clubcard and payment card)
- Hand over Clubcard and then Tesco credit card (Clubcard number is used and credit card number is used for payment)
- Hand over Tesco credit card just for clubcard number and pay with something else
The result of 3 is the same as if you had used your Clubcard.0
